Waiting -- A Spiritual Discipline - A Nighttime Prayer

"I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry."
– Psalm 40:1 (ESV)

Please Pray:

Father in Heaven, you are good. Your ways and your timing are best. Help me choose to embrace waiting as a spiritual discipline. Help me not to give up or give in to despair, but to wait with gutsy faith. You are the potter, I am the clay. Form me into something beautiful through my wait. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
