It is also imperative that they know the functions of the Blood of Jesus as well 🙌. For a believer, confessing the Blood of Jesus daily will help him/her live an Overcoming life!

As a continuation of this topic, let’s move further onto the second part of the same:

Eternal Life through the blood of Jesus

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. John‬ ‭6:53-54‬

Jesus spoke the above mentioned in reference to partaking in the Holy Table or Holy Communion. When we eat His flesh and drink His blood have Eternal Life. Jesus guarantees that He will raise him up from the dead on the last day.

Therefore, let us not refrain from partaking in the Holy Table whenever the opportunity arises.

Overcoming life

Just like I already mentioned — a believer’s Overcoming Life depends on the application of the Blood of Jesus, daily.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation‬ ‭12:11‬

The term him 👆refers to satan, the accuser of the brethren. What does this accuser do 24/7? He accuses the people of God (believers) before the Father, day and night! Nevertheless, how did they overcome him? By the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of their testimony. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John‬ ‭1:7‬.

Protection by the Blood of Jesus

In the Old Testament, the Israelites applied the blood of the Paschal Lamb on their door posts and lintels — to avoid the Angel of death from entering their house.

And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. Exodus‬ ‭12:22-23‬.

Spiritually, when we confess and apply the blood of Jesus on the door posts of our heart, the enemy cannot do anything against us. By faith apply the blood of the Lamb on the five senses. The Lord will help us go from victory to victory. May the Lord help us.
