Where is Paradise?

Where is the Paradise of God?

Where is the Paradise of God? Paradise is where God dwells. When Jesus told the thief on the cross, “Today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43),

He meant a real place—Heaven. Paul was “caught up to Paradise,” also called the “third heaven” (2 Corinthians 12:2–4).

Revelation says Paradise is where the tree of life grows (Revelation 2:7), and that tree appears again beside the river of life in the New Jerusalem (Revelation 22:2). Ezekiel saw this river flowing from the temple’s East Gate, bringing life wherever it flowed (Ezekiel 47:1–12).

Paradise is God’s eternal home. It is our return to the place where Adam and Eve were before they sinned.

One day, there will be a new heaven and a new earth (Revelation 21:1), and the New Jerusalem will come down to earth (Revelation 21:2). Then, those in Christ will dwell with God forever—without pain, suffering, or sin (Revelation 21:4).
