Why does God wants us to pray without ceasing or pray always?
1. You need to pray without ceasing because God wants to hear your voice. He created you to fellowship with Him, and He wants to hear your thoughts, challenges, plans, anxieties, and desires in prayer.
2. You need to pray without ceasing because the Holy Spirit wants to be involved in all your activities. The Holy Spirit is standing near you ready to give you wisdom, direction, and guidance. He knows the solutions to your problems before the problems occur. Prayer invites the Holy Spirit to intervene in your situation.
3. You need to pray without ceasing to overcome temptations that about all day. There are several wordly pleasures enticing us…illicit money and illicit sex, etc..You need to pray without ceasing to avoid falling into carnal lusts and sinful desires that knocks on the door of your heart without ceasing.
4. You need to pray without ceasing, because, Satan your adversary also goes around without ceasing, looking for who to devour. Satan distributes evils to people that fail to pray. Prayer wades off evils. If you wish to overcome tragedies, premature deaths, profitless handwork, nightmares, strange sicknesses, bareness, delayed marriage, etc you need to pray without ceasing
