Wisdom Passed Down and Passed On - A Nighttime Prayer

One generation shall commend Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts. – Psalm 145:4

Please Pray:

Heavenly Father, We praise You that You have not left us to navigate this life on our own. Your wisdom is ours for the asking. (James 1:5) Thank you for Your life-transforming words we find in scripture that are indeed a light unto our path. (Psalm 119:105)

We thank you also, for those who have come before us and their willingness to pour into us, what You have poured into them.

Lord, You waste nothing. Every high, every low You allow in our life is an opportunity to grow in the knowledge of Your character. Now we ask that You give us opportunities to pass on all we have learned. Please open the hearts of those You bring our way and may Your words of wisdom take root deep in their spirit. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.
