What Do You Do When You Realize You’re Not Alone?

There are moments in life when things don’t go the way you planned or expected. You might feel stuck, unheard, or like your prayers aren’t being answered.

And in those moments, it’s easy to believe you’re the only one feeling that way.

    But what if you’re not?

A few weeks ago, I was struggling with something internally. I felt off, like I was carrying a weight I couldn’t quite explain. Then, I had a conversation with a fellow Christian who told me she felt the same way.

I thought it was just me.

I had convinced myself that no one else could understand. But realizing that someone else had walked the same path, and was still standing, changed my perspective.

The feelings didn’t disappear instantly, but I felt seen. I felt understood. And most importantly, I felt less alone.

She held my hand, prayed with me, and encouraged me. And that moment reminded me that as Christians, while we all have unique journeys, there are hurdles we face that others have crossed before us.

Sometimes, you might need to walk alone, and that’s okay. There are seasons meant for solitude, reflection, and personal growth. But there are also seasons where God places people in your life to walk with you, guide you, and strengthen you.

Please don’t ignore the people God has sent your way. Don’t carry burdens you weren’t meant to carry alone.

So, to everyone who has stood by me, thank you. Thank you for being a reminder that God places help in the hearts of men. And I pray that just as you have held me up, you will never stand alone.

And for you, dear reader, I pray that you will never lack help. May God send people to hold your hand when you need it most. May you always find support, strength, and encouragement in the body of Christ.

The body of Christ is meant for connection and support.
Don’t compete with someone you could learn from.

Have you ever felt alone, only to realize others were going through the same thing?

How did you navigate that season?

Let’s talk in the comments. You’re not alone.
