The Privileged Life: 11 Christian Women Bloggers to Follow in 2022

“When they had read it, they rejoiced over its encouragement.” Acts 15:31

In the mornings when I open my email inbox, I shove aside the spam to open the little “jewel boxes” waiting for me.

I’m referring to blogs I receive from a number of Christian writers, and they never fail to bring joy, conviction, or inspiration of some kind. Mostly, they support me in my walk with Jesus and catapult me forward into my day with their positive outlook.

Today, I’m sharing some of my favorites among the “ladies who blog.” What they all have in common is their Christian perspective and their emphasis on encouragement. You’ll find great messages from all of these fine ladies:

Jodie Berndt—https://jodieberndt.com/jodie-berndts-blog-posts/

One of my friends introduced me to Jodie’s blog, and I’ve been fascinated by Jodie’s stories and great resources ever since. Her mission is praying through Scriptures for family, offering books and free downloadable prayer cards on her website. I loved her Advent cards.

Anne Graham Lotzhttps://www.annegrahamlotz.org/latest-from-anne/

Anne is the founder of AnGeL Ministries, a diverse organization that includes speaking, books, and events. But listen to her voice for a few minutes, and you’ll hear the legacy of her father, Billy Graham, in the rich accents and content of her messages. Anne doesn’t blog often, but her posts and videos are powerful.

MamaLavahttps://mamalava.wordpress.com/back-porch-blog-roll/

Whenever I read MamaLava’s blogs, I always feel as if I’m sitting on her back porch somewhere out West, sharing a cup o’ coffee and an engaging conversation with her! MamaLava dispenses generous amounts of honest, down-to-earth wisdom derived from a busy family life and her focus on Jesus. I am always blessed by her words.

Caralyn—https://beautybeyondbones.com

Once in bondage to anorexia, Caralyn celebrates her liberation (in Christ) with keen observations and way-ahead-of-her-generation wisdom regarding the urban life around her in New York City. This beautiful girl usually sparks a lively discussion with the challenging subjects she fearlessly tackles, always pointing to Jesus as the real source for change and joy. Her keto-friendly recipes are awesome, too!

Cindy Sproles—https://cindysproles.com/bloghttps://christiandevotions.us

Cindy, who hails from my end of Tennessee, hosts ChristianDevotions.us and serves as director of the Asheville Christian Writers Conference. But from time to time, she posts blogs on her own website to give writers (and everybody else) encouragement for productivity and making a positive impact in the world…for Jesus.

Edie Melson—https://ediemelson.comhttps://thewriteconversation.blogspot.com

Edie Melson is a busy blogger who shares wise advice for writers from experts all over the map as well as from her own experience. If you’re a writer or even thinking about writing, check out her websites above and feast on the bounty of information there. It’s such an amazing, free way to grow in your craft.

Rachel Hauck—https://www.rachelhauck.com/blog/

I discovered Rachel’s books less than two years ago, and I became enchanted by her romance novels. What I love most about her characters is that, for the most part, they are kind…obviously a reflection of her own spirit. Rachel’s commentaries are personal with sweet stories. Follow her to get her emails…and read her fascinating novels. Weddings and royals abound!

Chautona Havighttps://chautona.com/blog/

Chautona is a happy, talented, and entertaining novelist who has carved a significant niche in Christian fiction for women. Her blogs share other writers’ work as well as her own, and her book characters are very real people who have flaws…along with the hope of Christ. Chautona’s emails, too, are just fabulous…I always feel as if she is writing specifically to me. Sign up to get them!

DiAnn Mills—https://diannmills.com

DiAnn dishes out suspense, mystery, and romance in her novels…as well as optimistic advice in her blogs for writing and home life. Spend your coffee time with DiAnn…and expect an adventure with her!

Jessicahttps://writereadlife.com

Jessica is a non-stop reader who summarizes newly-released books to give you an idea of the content as well as her reaction to the storylines. While she mostly features fiction (including a lot of Christian fiction), she’ll occasionally throw in some helpful non-fiction as well. Check out her observations.

Angie Hychehttps://shipshape.solutions/blog

As a professional organizer, Angie shares her advice and expertise on how to declutter your home, your calendar, and your life, to make more room for spiritual growth. Take a look at some of her posts for inspiration on getting your world in order…instead of having an “unholy mess.”

While you’re looking at these other writers, consider “following” my weekly blog at this website, Lightbourne Creative. Look for the little tab in the lower corner of your screen, enter your information, and you’ll receive weekly emails.

I’m so appreciative of you, my reader, and I hope that you find joy and encouragement in my words. May I always point you to our Savior and Lord. Blessings to you in 2022!

Lord, may everything we do—including what we choose to read—be focused on You. Teach us more about You this year from our fellow pilgrims on this life journey, and let their words—based on Your truth—bring us hope and joy. In Your name, Jesus, Amen.
