This post was originally published on May 28, 2021 and is part of the Five Minute Friday blog link-up. I join up with a community of writers and bloggers of all ages and stages who gather around a single word prompt to free-write, unscripted, unedited, for five minutes. Kate said this week’s prompt is [RECOVER}

  • A fellow Five Minute Friday participant and blogger has been in a car accident and is in critical condition. This prayer is for her and you, dear friends, should you or another need healing.

GO

Heavenly Father, I come before you today

to ask for healing for those who are sick or

critically suffering.

I pray for those suffering that you cover

them with your precious Son’s blood. Our

Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Abba, I pray that you watch over and protect

those suffering so that no harm or evil go

against them.

I pray that you bring peace, comfort, and healing

to your child(ren).

In Jesus name, I pray

Amen
