God Hears When We Cry Out To Him - Raising Zion

cry out

I recently heard a testimony from a sister in Christ. She comes from another deep rooted religious background. In her mid-50’s she received Jesus as Saviour of her life.

“I am an illiterate. But when my relative read out the Bible to me in my native language something about me changed. One night I met Jesus by my bedside. He was all dressed in white. I felt his peace and assurance in and around me, even though I did not understand the significance of the encounter though. I asked my relative about my encounter and I was told Jesus chose me, now I need to choose Him.

One day my husband was diagnosed with a serious sickness which required an operation. The doctors came to me with a paper to sign. I asked them what it was, and they replied it was a safety net for them in case her husband died of the operation.

When we cry out, God’s mercies flow

I lifted up my hands praising God, and saying, don’t worry nothing will happen to my husband. You do your work. I left the hospital and went to a nearby field, where I cried out to God. I pleaded for my husbands life, and called up my relative requesting her to pray as well. She consoled me saying he will be healed.

I returned to the hospital, and to my surprise, the doctors came smiling to me. They said, you have won. Your husband is healed. There wasn’t a need for any operation. God healed my husband when I called out to Him. Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

Dear brother, sister, our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He still heals and delivers all those who turn to Him. Give your life to Him in prayer in these last days. Pray for everyone. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
