Tithes is for all Church workers

1 Chronicles 6 vs 31, 32 & 48

And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the Lord, after that the ark had rest. nd they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order. Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

1. In these verses, the Bible is talking about the duties of the Levites.
2. In the Old Testament, the Levites were people appointed by God to minister in the synagogue.
3. Most of them were into full time employment doing different types of service in the tabernacle.
4. They ministered in the presence of God
5. In these present days, the Levites could be described as full-time church workers, and these includes not only the pastors but any person that is working full time in the presence of God. These could also include those working in part-time like the drummers.
6. Any person that is dedicated to do the work of God as a job is a Levite.
7. If we follow this Bible definition of Levites, we will realize that God created tithes so there could be source of income for the Levites who are church workers.
8. Tithe is not only meant for the church pastors or founders. Tithe is meant to run the activities of the church, including payment of the salary of everyone working in the church especially the full-time workers.
9. Any church founder or Pastor  that appropriates all the tithes to himself or herself without taking care of other church workers is running contrary to the scriptures.
10. God did not create tithe only for the high priest, Malaki 3 vs 10 says ‘… so there could be meat in my house’.
11. That meat is for all ministers and all workers working for God as a full time duty.
12. I pray that God will give all who thinks tithes is the divine inheritance of Church founders or Pastors alone an understanding.
13. In an earlier article,  https://christonline.wordpress.com/2018/04/19/bible-verses-on-paying-tithes-old-and-new-testament-scriptures/ I mentioned there are three types of tithes in the Bible, and these includes one for widows, the needy, and strangers.
14. May God deliver some of the present-day Levites from the spirit of covetousness and greed in Jesus name.
