A VERY Unique Prayer

Do you sometimes wish you had a direct connection to the Christian Holy Sites in Israel when you want deep prayer?

I know I am not alone in this.

When we are struggling with something, the first thing we need to do is pray, right? We pray for God’s intervention, wisdom, mercy, comfort, compassion, and grace.

Then sometimes we need to ask others to pray on our behalf.

All of us need heavy prayer at some point in our lives. Sometimes it’s for difficult situations for us or those we love.

What if….. you could send your prayer request to Jerusalem to one of the many places where Jesus walked?

And what if…..your prayer was prayed for by a Christian prayer warrior from Israel?

And, if you wanted, they could light a candle for you in one of these amazing holy places in honor of your request?

Well, you can!

In fact, I recently did this.

We have had some heavy family stuff we needed prayer for. While I know God hears all of our prayers no matter where we live, I sent in my prayer request and asked them to pray my prayer at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which is located in the Christian section of Jerusalem. This church is one of the possible locations where Jesus was buried in the tomb for 3 days.

About a week later, I received a video and pictures of this location and a picture of my prayer held in the outside court of the church which documented their service.

This. Was. POWERFUL!

It brought me to tears and comforted me in ways I was not expecting.

My family prayer was in the Holy Land being lifted up to God in a place where my heart longs to be.

I wanted to feel as close to our God who comforts us while my heart was breaking at the difficulties my family was facing.

What a blessing to have this service!

The unique ministry is called The Salvation Garden and is one of a kind. They even have a subscription service for our prayers to be taken care of with the ease of automation. The Salvation Garden has an online shop of goodies from the Holy Land as well for those of you that enjoy gifts straight from Israel.

Take a look at their site when you are needing some extra support (or even want some unique gift ideas). Allow the this ministry to take your special prayers to the Christian holy sites you feel called to.

If you are a prayer warrior, you can even pray for others on their site. What a beautiful community!

I hope this resource is a blessing you as it is to me.

    A Soulo-ish Adventure

I just made up a name! Kind-of. This name exists but not in the context of my definition.Soulo. This is something I recently did. And since I love a play on words and find them clever, here we are.Last month I took a trip. Mostly by myself. My daughter was about 30 minutes away and stayed with me just a few nights, so I was not completely solo. Hence the -ish at the end of my new word.If you have seen my website or read my blogs, you will notice that I have a thing for beaches. Tropical beaches.

One Easy (and super neat) Way to Support Israel

I love supporting small organizations that are actively engaged in their field, allowing donors to witness tangible results. A friend of mine runs a ministry where 100% of donations are channeled directly to the small organizations they collaborate with globally. Seeing the photos illustrating how the funds are utilized makes us feel like we are making a direct impact. I have a few other friends with similar ministries where you can see the results of your donations. They are here and here. But

    What is Christian Counseling?

Did you know Christian Counseling is a thing? I didn't many years ago. In fact, the Lord told me I would be a Christian Counselor, but I did not know that that was. Now that I am many years into being one (after 12 years as a state- licensed therapist), I would like to share with you the different types of Christian Counselors so that if you want counseling, you know what direction to head. There are 4 types we will cover in this post: State-licensed, biblical, lay, and combo. State-licensed...
