Genesis 3 vs 8

And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

What Does Genesis 3:8 Mean?

  1. Adam and Eve hid from the presence of the Lord.
  2. I pray you shall not hide your sin from the presence of God.
  3. God came to see Adam and Eve, but instead of them to be happy, they hid from his presence because of their sins.
  4. Many of us could not seek the face of God because of our sins.
  5. Iniquity will cause you to hide your face from God.
  6. Cut off every sin that you want to cut off your relationship with God.
  7. Illicit sex shall not cause you to hide your face from the face of God.
  8. You shall not fall into the trap of idolatry and evil consultation.
  9. No sin shall cause you to run from the presence of God in Jesus’ name. Amen.
