Spiritual things.
Non spiritual things.

We’ve always seen the spiritual activities to be praying in your closet, reading the Bible and doing the good works like giving and helping out. That way, we’re being holy and giving God Glory with our lives.

The non spiritual things are our ordinary daily routines, the things we have to tick in our to do list. Things like fixing our hair, getting new clothes, laughing, having fun, working and whatnot.
We see these activities as secular, just things we have to do, because they don’t connect us to the spiritual realm.

Don’t you think dividing these activities draws us far from what we’ve really been called to do as Christians? Which is to Glorify God.
There’s no way you can divide the secular from the sacred and not feel disjointed, it’s just like you’re rushing over the things you see as mundane and natural so you can rush over to the spiritual activities we feel God is pleased with.

What if we start seeing our whole life, I mean every single thing we do here on earth as a type of living intercession? Why the confusing differentiation? You are holy. You have been sanctified and consecrated in Christ Jesus. You’ve been called as a Priest, let every single thing you do reflect that. Yes, everything should be done unto God, to Glorify God.

All of you, all of what you do is holy? God calls you a living sacrifice, but you shouldn’t be a living sacrifice just in your prayer closet. Your lifestyle could actually be a priestly duty to God.
In I Peter 2, we’re being referred to as A Spiritual House, consecrated to offer up Spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable and pleasing to God. We are God’s Royal Priesthood, but not just in our prayer altars, our whole lives should reflect that priesthood.

Everything you do here on earth is holy if done unto God. Things like our ordinary daily routines. Things like you looking good, fixing your hair and whatnot, can be seen as holy if your motive is to glorify God.

If all you do glorifies God, then you shouldn’t see eating or doing exercises as unholy. The ordinary things you do should be seen as something done for God’s Glory too.
You, my darling, have been consecrated to the Most High, you have given Him your life, your abilities, all of your possessions, doesn’t that mean all of your life is holy? Everything you do unto God is sanctified.

God sees us as Saints, quite alright, doesn’t mean there aren’t some of us with behavior that shouldn’t be classified as holy, yet God sees us through the blood and sacrifice of Jesus.
We all make mistakes, yeah, but when we are dedicated to God and we strive to please Him, all things become holy. You know what really matters? The attitudes of our hearts. God can sense a fake from afar, come with the knowledge that you have been made righteous in Christ and be cleansed. If you’re convinced that you life as God’s spiritual house, it’ll help you stay conscious and consider everything you do holy. It’ll help you make the best decisions in light of who God has made you to be : a spiritual house.

Know this and be at peace.

1Pet.2.9 – But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God β€˜s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
