12 Bible Verses About Freshness, Renewal, and Transformation for Your New Year
Welcome to the new year. ✨ By the time you read this, there is a good chance we are at least one week into 2020.
Did you set yourself up with any resolutions? If so, how are they going? Did they even make it this far? 👍😲
January 1st always seems to mark a new, clean slate. It’s as if it is a tangible point in which we can use as a starting point to make a change. It is the place in our lives where we tend to re-adjust life as we know it in an attempt to become the person we envision ourselves to be. As if December 9th, April 27th, or September 30th are not perfect days for this change to occur, right? 🙄🙄
I am not sure why we put so much pressure on ourselves at the beginning of each new year. I don’t know if it is seeing the clear, fresh blank calendar 📅 before us or the wide-open possibilities of a new, yet unknown, year that make us consider it such a great turning point. Whatever the reason, we all seem to agree that the time for renewal is right now.
So, in keeping with the consensus, I thought that perhaps you may be able to put some Bible verses to good use — you know, those verses that talk about all the freshness, renewal, and transformation going on in the world. After all, only God can wipe us clean and give us that real sense of anew.
I will place them in easy reach before you, in no particular order. Choose one or all. You find the quiet space to read them, sit with them, study them, and incorporate them into your life. And, whatever you do, know that you already are an incredibly amazing individual that was created in God’s image to do some magnificent things. And, that this is a time for you to re-focus your attention on what can change the course of your life forever.
