44 Inspiring Bible Verses About Leadership

If a Christian holds any position in life, he is tasked to demonstrate good leadership skills both in the ministry, in society, at the workplace and wherever he finds himself. When we open the scriptures —we can find several Bible verses about leadership to learn from.

The Bible explicitly talks about the qualities and responsibilities of a leader. There are several Bible verses about leadership that remind us of the exemplary life of Jesus Christ, the good Shepard. He is the greatest leader ever to live.

Here in this article, you will find what the scriptures require of you as a leader. You will also get to know some of the things that displease God about people holding higher positions. Example of such people are fathers, entrepreneurs, pastors, prophets, teachers, Kings, etc,

These Bible verses about leadership sum it all to the golden rule that says to treat others how you want to be treated. Great leaders of God such as Moses, David, Paul, Peter, etc, did well in taking care of God’s sheep and having a good reputation wherever they find themselves. It’s time to learn from them now.

My favorite verse here is #44 which talks about strict accountability from teachers of the word of God.

    The Mall or the Manger?

Much has changed since the God of the universe decorated the night sky with the star of Bethlehem and directed the choir of angels in a chorus announcing the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. But the commercialism doesn’t have to rule in our hearts and homes. This year let’s focus on the Christ Child and remember the true meaning of the holiday season. As we turn our eyes to the Babe in the manger, we will not view Christmas as a dreaded obligation or a major retail event. It will be a time of joyous celebration, honoring the One Who came to give us eternal life and worshipping our Heavenly Father.
