A Bountiful Harvest Requires Spiritual Discipline - A Nighttime Prayer

Please Pray:

Heavenly Father, prepare the soil of my heart that through my study of Your Word the seeds of truth might be planted there. May I not rush ahead but have the spiritual discipline to sow only what the soil You have prepared can bear. Grant that I may be patient as I wait for the bountiful harvest of each crop in its due season. Give me discernment in nurturing each word that comes from You until it is rooted deeply in my heart. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
