A Love That Unearths the Depths of Our Hearts - A Nighttime Prayer

So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. — Ephesians 3:17-19 (NIV)

Please Pray:

Dear Father, thank you for loving me beyond measure. Soften my heart so that I may love others well and emulate Christ with my actions and speech. Teach me how to love as Paul describes it in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. May I experience this kind of love in return on earth, while knowing full well that Your love surpasses all human affections. Your love alone, Lord, is what completes me, and I am so grateful to be called Your beloved. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
