The quiet, handsome and calm Clergyman is not one to show and announce himself or his deeds, he is one of the few who believes that good deeds should be done in secret and not be broadcasted hence the misconception of many can be forgiven.
A fiery preacher of the Word of Life, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has been one man who continually speaks against the ills in society even to it’s leadership and government.
In his message “Demonstrating Love for your Nation” he openly condemned the manner in which Nigeria is being governed and has countless times spoken about the lack of value for human life sometimes shown by the Government in the handling of its affairs.
On December 21st 2021, Pastor David Ibiyeomie openly called in government to understand and place more value on the life of Nigerians.

Sometime in September of 2016, he called on the Nigerian government to stop exporting crude and instead focus on producing a few of the over 1000 by products of Crude oil, he asked that the government should ask him as he has a roadmap to make Nigeria a sufficient producer of the byproducts of Crude-oil and demanded that the government stop mortgaging the future by borrowing.

In 2017 Pastor David Ibiyeomie’s Foundation the DIF awarded 295 children scholarships and sponsored 1400 applicants in various comprehensive Skill Acquisition programs for empowerment and gave them machines and tools to start various businesses with Tailoring, shoe making,
Fish farming, welding, fire fighting, e-commerce, ICT and a host of other trainings. He has consistently run this trainings and scholarship program for the less privileged till date. It is said to run into hundreds of millions annually from his personal pocket and not the church money.
Home for the elderly
In 2018 David Ibiyeomie built an elaborate home for the elderly furnished with modern facilities and infrastructure, simply to have the elderly looked after and age with dignity.
Free tuition school
In 2019 David Ibiyeomie started a free school of international standards that was equipped with state of the art facilities, that still runs till date with growing standard. It sits on Aggrey Road Port Harcourt, on a 3 storey building.
Hostel for students
In 2019 David Ibiyeomie built and furnished a 300 million naira hostel for students of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education and habded it over, without a dime being paid to him.
Gifts to University Teaching Hospital
In 2020, David Ibiyeomie donated equipments running to thousands of US dollars to the University of Portharcourt teaching hospital for proper healthcare.
