Anxiety and Depression Series—Find Help and Hope Now – Carry on My Heart

Christians experience anxiety and depression too.

Experiencing anxiety and/or depression, even as a Christian, no matter the reason, is frightening and you’re often unsure where to turn.

We don’t hear it mentioned nearly enough in the church that this is a human condition—NOT simply a secular condition. I long to see the stigma surrounding these struggles overcome and for this reason, I’ve intended this to be a place of comfort and information for anyone walking this same path.

If you experience any kind of fear, depression, anxiety, doubts or fearful thoughts, know this:

There is hope. You can overcome this.

If you believe in Jesus as your savior you have already taken the first step.

I am someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression for many years and has come to find comfort, hope and true change through my savior, Jesus—where all other avenues have failed.

On this page, you’ll find words of hope from someone who has walked this path before you.

Regardless of why you’re here, welcome.

We’re in this together, friend. You’re not alone.

I’d be honored to pray for you and help carry your burden today, please feel free to reach out to me.

We all have a story to share. Mine happens to be a story of the grace and kindness of Jesus. I am a wife to a first responder, a mama to three incredible young men, a lover of words and their meanings, a storyteller, a truth-seeker, and a recovering worrier, to name a few things.
