Are You Willing to Be Pruned? - A Nighttime Prayer

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” — John 15:1-2 (NIV)

Please Pray:

Dear Jesus, if I’m honest, pruning isn’t something I look forward to in life. It’s so painful and excruciating at times. When I’m in seasons of being pruned, please remind me that it’s for my good and your glory. Remind me that you only do what’s best and that you have good plans in store for my future. Help me to trust you, especially now. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
