Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid - A Nighttime Prayer

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." -- Matthew 10:28

Please Pray:

Father, you are the Judge of all the earth. You assure us of your never-ending faithfulness and unconditional love. You also warn us of the wrath to come in a literal place You call Hell. May the reality of hell for unrepentant sinners develop in us reverence for who You are. May we—like You—show compassion to our fragile foes. In Jesus' name, Amen.
