And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
- When you study the verses preceding this verse, the Bible lists things that can make a man be taken captive by the devil, which are: Youthful lust, Disobedience, and many more.
- Once you are not walking with God, you are walking with the devil.
- Do not negotiate with the devil. The devil is not your friend. He takes people captive.
- Anytime you put yourself into sin, you are making yourself capturable by the devil.
- The Bible says that we should abstain from every appearance of sin.
- Anytime you open up to sin, you are opening yourself to captivity by the devil.
- Do not allow the devil to hold you captive.
- May the name of Jesus Christ set you free in Jesus’ name. Amen.
