Be Still and Know God - A Nighttime Prayer

1x
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” -- Psalm 46:10

Please Pray:

Dear God, forgive me for all the times I’ve chosen to move at the pace the world demands instead of at the pace You have for me. I’ve missed so many opportunities to know you better. But as a deer pants for water, my soul longs to know you more. Instill in me the strength to let go of the things that stand in the way of knowing you better. Create within me the calmness of mind to just be still in Your presence. Stir within me the desire to know you above all else. Make Yourself known to me through Your Word and through Your creation. In the strong name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
