Cast Out Idols and Seek Freedom in Jesus Christ - A Nighttime Prayer

1x
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." -- Galatians 5:1 (NKJV)

Please Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, You know all things. You knew us before the world began. You know our hearts and the plans You have for us. We praise Your holy name! Often, we are so blind that we cannot see the idols we have created and keep in our hearts. Help us to see them and cast them out in the mighty name of Jesus! Give us clarity to follow freedom in Christ with eyes and ears that clearly focus on You and Your Word. Go before us, guide us with Holy Spirit, and prepare the way each day that we might walk out our journey as You intend. Keep us on the straight path You have set before us and nudge us off the rocky crooked path of self-righteousness. Above all, keep us in Your precious care and help us to keep our eyes on You. These things we ask in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
