Cheater, you are the aggressor, not victim, here! - Divorce Minister

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!

-I Corinthians 6:15, NIV

For whatever reasons, people are often taken in by the pity story a caught cheater spins to avoid taking responsibility for their infidelity. They portray themselves as the victim, and sadly, even professionals buy this poppycock.

The reality is every cheater is an aggressor.

They have attacked the marital union and violated their partner by forcing a third party into that intimate union. It is not like they are passive passengers in this story.

They actively chose sin over godliness.

As long as a cheater is stuck playing the victim, no hope remains for the marriage being resurrected. They have to first accept responsibility for their sinful choices before they can repent and choose differently.

So, do not get sucked into the pity story of a cheater. It helps no one, ultimately.
