Dealing with Temptation and Easter - A Nighttime Prayer

“We have a high priest who can feel it when we are weak and hurting. We have a high priest who has been tempted in every way, just as we are. But he did not sin.”

-- Hebrews 4:15 (NIRV)

Please Pray:

Jesus, in this Easter season, please let us not gloss over the fact that You fully conquered every single temptation that came Your way during Your earthly life. But that doesn't mean You didn't face them. And because You are the champion of beating temptation and therefore, sin, You have created a way for us to be with You for eternity. You know what we face, and You are right there with us in every temptation. Please keep us from falling into sin and help us stand up to temptation. We turn to You for this. Thank You for your grace! In Your Holy Name, Jesus, Amen.
