Contrary to many people's perception, demons in the Bible are real.
We all know the Temptation of Jesus in the desert.
In Matthew 4:1-11, after His baptism, Jesus enters the wilderness where Satan tempts Him three times. First, Satan tempts Jesus to turn stones into bread, but Jesus responds that life is more than food alone. Next, Satan takes Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple and urges Him to jump, but Jesus quotes the Scripture, saying not to put God to the test.
Finally, Satan shows Jesus the world's kingdoms and offers them in exchange for worship, but Jesus rebukes him, affirming that only God should be worshipped.
Jesus remains steadfast in His faithfulness to God, rejecting the temptations of worldly power. After the tricks, the devil departs, and angels come to minister to Jesus.

The battle between good and evil is a reality we contend with in our everyday lives. As a result of our earthly state, we fall into temptation and sin. We also suffer small and tremendous troubles and pains because of these demons in the Bible. But we all look forward to God's promise of eternal life, where pain and evil no longer exist.
