Dr. Ruckman links the Blood to the Sinner's Prayer unlike Robert Breaker who says the sinner prayer is a work (1950s to 1990s compilation)
Robert Breaker III (the cloud church) claims that a young Dr. Ruckman taught to be saved: you mentally assent to the blood of Christ. And, that the blood is mutually exclusive to the sinner's prayer. False!
Thank you to the Lord's bloodhound, Brother Don Nesbitt for sounding the alarm about Breaker. This video would not exist without him. His youtube handle is @w46try7
Update: I do not associate with Jeremiah anymore.

This video is a part two to my video “Debunking Robert Breaker’s Fake "Mountain
of Evidence" (Dr. Ruckman "preaching the blood" Audio)”
Watch it for more context.
[00:12]
This exists to prove that Dr. Ruckman did not think that a vocal confessing of
asking God to save you and the blood of Christ were mutually exclusive concepts.
I.E Robert Breaker is wrong that Dr. Ruckman preaching about the blood, means
that young Ruckman is somehow against vocal confession.
[00:18]
If you don’t know Breaker’s theology.
[00:22 - 00:39] Robert Breaker Clip
Robert Breaker:
And that's not reading the context. The context is, how shall you call on Him in
whom they have not believed? You see, you have to believe. It's through faith
that we're saved. It's not through works of saying something. And it's not
through faith plus saying something. And it's not through faith plus saying
something.

[00:40]
Dr. Ruckman from 1948 (his salvation) to his death in the 2010s, taught it was
from Faith + saying something.
You had to receive the blood by vocally asking for it.
That is what Ruckman taught.
[00:57 - 02:41] Dr. Peter S. Ruckman Chalk-Talk Sermon (1950s)
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
...the best preparation I know for death is to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as
your own personal Savior. For He hath said, “I will never leave thee nor forsake
thee,” so we may boldly say, “The Lord is my helper. I shall not fear what man
shall do unto me.” Fear Him that is able to destroy both body and soul in hell.
Yea, I say unto you, fear Him.
Now, men and women, let's be reasonable. Someday you're going to take that step.
Science is going to halt this side of that step. Your church is going to stop
this side of the grave. Your religion may get you to the grave, but you'll need
somebody to take you from there on. You'll need God's Son, the Lord Jesus
Christ.
He said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth on me, though he
were dead, yet shall he live.” And when you take that step, that final step out
of the darkness, He'll go with you. All you have to do is receive Him. Why don't
you do it?
You say, “I don't know how to do it.” All right, I'll tell you how to do it.
It's real easy. A child can understand. All you have to do is just bow your head
right there and say, “Lord Jesus, I'm a—I'm a sinner. Please save me. Please
come into my heart and make me a new creature.”
Now, you can do that, can't you? Try it. Tonight, before you go to bed, just bow
your head and say, “Lord, I'm a—I'm a sinner. Please save me. I want to be
saved. I do receive You.”
Listen, if you do that, God will save you. If He loved you enough to die for
you, He won't keep you waiting all night. He won't push you through some big
religious ecclesiastical rigmarole. If He loved you enough to shed His blood for
you, He will save you. Now, ask Him to.
And say, write me and tell me about your decision to receive Him as your Savior.
I'd like to rejoice with you. Receive Him today and and write me. Just address
your letter to TV for Christ, Panama City, Florida.
[02:42 - 10:25] Tape Recording: “How God Punishes the Lost” (1965 – Early 1967)
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
...somebody, somewhere—I'm not going to make any charges—somebody, somewhere
said, “We'll back you up. We'll help you out.” And listen, when those Cuban
tanks and artillery came in, the United States didn't help them out. And they
lost their shirt.
You know what we tried to do in that thing? We tried to pretend that we weren't
for the guerrillas, and we weren't for Castro. See? We were neutral. And when
you play it neutral, people, you lose your shirt. And when you play it neutral
in spiritual matters, you lose your soul!
You're going to sit back there and say, “Well, I'm not going to get out of that
seat in that invitation. I'm not going to tell anybody I'm saved. I'm not going
to confess Christ. But, uh, but I believe in Him. Don't get me wrong, preacher.
I'm all for—for the good Lord. You know, a kind of—that's right down the
middle.”
You know what you ought to do? You ought to get out of your seat. You ought to
get right down there, call upon His name for salvation. You ought to stand on up
there and say, “Folks, I'm coming to trust Christ.” Go right out that door, and
let every man that breathes the face of this earth that you meet know that
you're His and He's yours.
Let's stand. Let's stand and sing “Just As I Am” without one plea, that Thy
blood was shed for me and that Thou bidd'st me come to Thee. O Lamb of God, I
come. I want to give an invitation here this morning to any unsaved man or woman
that has never received God's Son as your Savior, to come in this invitation.
Meet me at the front, by your coming take Christ as yours today, just as I am.
(Congregation sings “Just As I Am” from 04:15 – 08:10)
[08:10] Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
All right, let's sing one more stanza before we close. Let's sing “Where He
Leads Me I Will Follow.” And, uh, we got two young men saved this morning, and
another young man here Brother McGraw led to Christ yesterday down the street,
come and confess the Lord this morning. And let's sing one more stanza, “Where
He Leads Me I Will Follow.”
And at this time, the doors of the church are open. If any of you'd like to
become members of the Brent Baptist Church, feel free to come in the invitation
while we sing. Sing just the chorus: “Where He leads me I will follow,” just the
chorus.
(Congregation sings chorus from 08:41 – 09:48)
[09:48] Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
Amen. Bless God. All right, I guess we'll close here. I hate to close here, it's
getting late, but, uh, I guess we'll close. We have about five come this morning
and joined the church, and two of them saved, one of them confessing the Lord.
And people, I'd say, I think if you bring out some folks tonight, I think we'll
see the Lord work again, I really do. Now I don't say that because of the
message, but I—it's been my, um, been my observation around here that when
a—when the plan of salvation is presented clearly, and you folks are right, and
you're praying, people get saved. They get saved.
[10:25 - 10:31] Text Card
[10:25]
I want it to be noted that Dr. Ruckman is talking about the blood of Jesus
Christ in the first few clips. And yet, later on, he talks about having to
confess as a requirement for salvation.
Dr. Ruckman himself did not think that the blood and confession were mutually
exclusive concepts.
[10:31 - 15:15] Tape Recording: “Most Precious Thing in the World” (1969)
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
When He says that, uh, He's not saying a light thing, or a thing to be taken
lightly. I believe that that blood is precious, and as far as I'm concerned, uh,
to me, it is the most precious thing in this world. And there's nothing like it.
Now, wouldn't it be strange—I mean, just stop and think about this. You're up
in 19 uh 70, practically, a couple of months. The blood of Jesus Christ is
precious to me because it blots out sin. Now listen, if it redeems, and
justifies, and blots out sin, don't you know, don't you know that to me, it's
precious?
Let me ask you this: what would I give in exchange for something that would
redeem me, and cleanse me, and blot out my sins? Now I'm asking you. What would
I take in exchange for that? I wouldn't take anything in exchange for it.
Simon Peter says, “Ye were redeemed not with corrupt—corruptible things, such as
silver and gold, received by the vain tradition uh of your fathers, but by the
precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without spot and without blemish.” It not
only blots out sin, but it draws us nigh.
The Bible says, uh, having boldness therefore, it to we can draw nigh to God by
Him. Uh, He has taken away the the partition between us, and taken it out of the
way. “And you that were far off, were sometimes afar off, are made nigh, made
near, by the blood of Jesus Christ.” The blood of Jesus Christ draws me near to
God, so I don't have to go through a bunch of bellboys and carhops and
chamberlains and vice presidents and secretaries and desk attendants and all
that kind of business to get to God.
Listen, if I want to get to God, I don't have to go through a big, long
rigmarole, because the blood has drawn me near to God. If I want to pray to God
right now, I wouldn't have to get in the mood for it. Ask the Lord to bless the
message, and do what I can't do, and save somebody here tonight for Jesus' sake.
Amen.
It's It's right up there. Right up there. Well, bless chalk, and when I'm making
mistakes, bust microphone, keep it on. It's right up there!
I didn't go around and knock on somebody's door and say, “Dear Father Confessor,
will you please get me an audience with the Father, Son, the Holy Spirit through
Mary?” I don't have to do that kind of business! If I want to get to God, I can
get to God just like that, brother, just like that. Draw nigh, draw near.
Wouldn't you be in a mess, wouldn't you be in a mess if you had to go through
what some folks go through to get to God? Suppose you had a prayer book. You
know, before I was saved, I had a prayer book. We went to church, we had a
little prayer book. They had some of the most beautiful prayers written on it
you ever saw. And they had prayers for all kinds of occasions. I mean, they had
some tremendous prayers in there: how to pray when somebody's sick, how to pray
when the car breaks down, how to pray when you miss your boat or your plane, how
to pray when you're a shell hole and shells are coming over, and how to pray
before a meal, how to pray after a meal, how to pray when you're feeling blue,
all prayer for every occasion. And wouldn't it be something if you had to thumb
through that thing and find just the prayer for the right occasion at the right
time?
Suppose you were in a church tonight and the church began to burn down. Wouldn't
you be in a mess with timbers falling, and smoke, and all the pieces, and
everything exploding, and melting over your head to have to get that prayer
book, “Let's see: Prayer for a Baptist in a Burning Church Building. [laughter]
Page 375.” Now, wouldn't you be in a mess?
Simon Peter one time got out there in the water, you know, and got, uh, going
across the water. And he saw the the waves uh were heavy and uh threatening, and
he began to sink. And when they began to When he began to sink, you know what he
said? He cried out and he said, “Lord,” he said, “Lord,” he said, “save me!
Lord, save me!” And the Bible says the Lord, uh, put out His hand and drew him
up out of the water, just like that. Uh, Simon Peter just said two words: “Lord,
save me. Save me.”
Now, I know some folks that don't know they're saved even though they've asked
God to save them. I know some folks that have prayed, “Lord, save me.” And if
you ask them if they ever asked God to save them, they'd say, “Yes, I asked God
to save me.” But they couldn't believe that He really did it. And yet you know
something? When you get right down to it, whosoever shall call upon the name of
the Lord shall be saved.
And if you're sitting in this building tonight, and you know you're a sinner,
and you know you can't save yourself, and you know Jesus Christ died to save
sinners, you know what you have to pray right now?
“Lord, save me.”
And immediately took him by the hand, picked him up. Drawn nigh, brought near,
brought near.
[15:15 - 15:20] Text Card
[15:15]
Dr. Ruckman does not believe the blood atonement and confession were exclusive.
He believed in the blood atonement and confession.
[15:20 - 16:01] Tape Recording: “Come Unto Me” (1972)
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
...cross. In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the remission of
sins. That's one load you don't have to carry. You might have to carry some, you
don't have to carry that one.
Take Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart,
and you shall find rest unto your souls.
(Clip cuts to 16:59 on tape)
Not a cautious invitation. It says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
I don't care what kind of sins you got. I wouldn't care to see a list, and
neither does the Lord. They're all taken care of at Calvary. All of them. You
say, “How many?” All of them. Bible says, “The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son,
cleanseth us from all sin.”
[16:02 - 16:08] Text Card
[16:02]
I am going to show you the next few minutes again to prove that none of this is
cherrypicked or deceptively edited to make you think that Ruckman believed in
something he didn't.
[16:08 - 19:08] Tape Recording: “Come Unto Me” (1972) Continued
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I'll give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me... My yoke is easy, my burden is light:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
All right, let's have a word of prayer.
Father, we pray the Holy Spirit be manifest in this hour, and no man be seen or
felt or heard. I pray, my Father, the river of water of life be so deep in this
building, the only thing anybody sees is the head, the Lord Jesus Christ, above
the waters. That they might trust Him as a Savior, and come to Him with their
problems, and trials, and temptations, lay them at His feet. Father, we pray
tonight if there's anybody in this building that's never been saved, they'll
trust You as a Savior right this minute. We pray they'll pass from death to
life, and take Your yoke and learn of You. Because You're meek and lowly, and
Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light.
All right, let's remain in prayer just a few minutes while the piano is playing.
I don't know everybody here tonight. It's a chapel night, I see some guests. I
don't know whether you're saved or not. But is there anybody here tonight who's
not saved? Is anybody here tonight who has never received Christ, you've never
been to Christ as your Savior? If there's anybody here like that tonight, would
you raise your hand right now and say, “Preacher, I've never been saved. Pray—”
[17:34 Text Card Overlay]
I am going to show you the next few minutes again for one reason: to prove that
none of this is cherrypicked or edited to make you think Ruckman believed in
something he didn't.
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman (continuing):
“—pray for me.” Would you raise your hand? Is there anybody like that here
tonight? Would you raise a hand?
You're all saved?
All right, let's tarry a few minutes. If you're all saved, are the sins, and the
disappointments, and the burdens, and the guilt, and the worry, is it where it
ought to be? Not in you, on Him. He gave the invitation. He said, “Take My yoke.
I'll help you pull it. You and Me get in the yoke together.” And He said, “My
yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Father, bless the message. May the Lord Jesus Christ be real to us, real in our
lives. Heavenly Father, may these things be spoken about tonight be real to us.
May we not forget them in the trying hour. May we apply them, Father. May we be
doers of the word and not hearers only, for Jesus' sake. Amen.
All right, we're going to close here. I I guess all you people here tonight are
saved people. Hope you are. You never can tell, though. We had one young man
here tonight came down to the school to get some books for a bookstore up north,
and he said he got saved even uh in a Saturday night Bible class down there at
Brent on Daniel and Thessalonians or something. I never— Give them more of a
testimony. Come on.
[19:09 - 20:01] Testimony Clip
[19:09 Text Card]
A man is going to give his testimony. Breaker believes that the heart calls out
to God. This man, however, believed and confessed as a requirement for
salvation. This contrasts with Breaker's belief that confession is just
something you can do after getting saved, not a requirement for getting saved.

“...So what are you doing going around telling people just with your mouth come
to God and ask him to save you” - Robert Breaker, Aug 27, 2025
“Robert Breaker Joseph Gonzalez PROVE Romans 10 Confess With Thy Mouth & Calling
DOESN’T Save Today” 11:44
Young Man Giving Testimony:
...uh and I think that uh, that it's uh, I thank the Lord, uh, I think the Lord
Jesus Christ, my Savior and my Lord, uh, Brother Peter was teaching about the
tribulation. Uh, he was teaching it from Thessalonians, 1 Thessalonians, and
took another pass on Daniel. And uh, I had been in a Southern Baptist church for
a half life, and I knew that I wasn't saved. Uh, and that night, I came uh to
realize that I was dirt rotten sinner and all my righteousness was filthy rags.
And uh, I came to realize that salvation was in the person of the Lord Jesus
Christ. Amen. And that night, I just uh got down on my knees, a guilty sinner
before God, and uh asked the Lord Jesus Christ to save me. And on the authority
of God's Word, He did.
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
Amen. Amen.
[20:02 - 20:54] Robert Breaker Clip
Robert Breaker:
No. Has the moon turned to blood? Has uh the sun turned to darkness? No.
So, this is right here.
So what are you doing going around telling people just with your mouth come to
God and ask Him to save you and calling on Him when that's more over here? Why
aren't you preaching Paul over here, “Trust what Jesus did”?
You sound like an absolute fool who doesn't know your Bible if that's the only
verse you're taking people to to try to win them to the Lord. Are you literally
telling them, “Hey, do this because I don't want you to go to the rapture”?
[laughs]
Hey, I'm just as— I mean, when a guy's left behind at the rapture, he's going to
get mad. Guess who he's going to get mad at first: his preacher. “Why am I here?
He told me I got saved by repeating a prayer.”
[20:55 - 20:59] Text Card
[20:55]
That young man (according to Robert Breaker) was not saved, to put it lightly.
Huh.
[20:59 - 21:23] Tape Recording: “Why Do Righteous Suffer?” (August 29, 1978)
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
Let's sing the first stanza again, we'll close. The first stanza: “Have Thine
own way, Lord, have Thine own way.” You want to come, come on while we sing.
(Congregation begins singing: “Have Thine own way, Lord...”)
Come on, if you're going to come, last invitation. Personal workers here to deal
with you, pastor here to pray with you. Let's go out with things right. Things
right.

[21:24]
"Personal workers here to deal with you. Pastor here to pray with you."
What did Dr. Ruckman mean by that?
[21:28]
I will give the full uncut final lines from the pastor.
So, you can see what Dr. Ruckman meant.
[21:33 - 23:25] Tape Recording: Church Pastor Closing Invitation (1978)
Pastor:
Terrible thing to have a controversy with God. Because I guess the the most
wretched part of it all is that while you're in the controversy, you're
miserable. And yet we are a people that so desperately look for happiness. God
said there's a peace and a joy that comes from just settling the controversy and
saying yes to Him.
I don't know what your controversy is tonight, but I hope and pray that you've
given it to the Lord.
If you're here tonight, and you do not know that you're saved, you do not
have 100%, absolute, complete, final assurance of eternal life. Heaven is a
home, and forgiveness of sins. You need to be saved.
A church cannot save you. A religion cannot save you. A sacrament and a ritual
cannot save you. But Jesus. sinner standing before God. And I'm willing at this
time to trust only the shed blood of Jesus Christ to save me from my sin and
give me eternal life. I turn my back on everything else and look to Him.
And if you'll do that and reach out by faith, He'll save you tonight. We'll sing
another verse. If you're not saved, come on this verse, and allow someone to
take an open Bible and show you how to be saved.
[23:25 - 23:29] Text Card
[23:25]
I want you to listen to what Dr. Ruckman is saying. He trusted in God.
This is unlike Robert Breaker, who teaches that "belief and confession as two
conditions for salvation is a work."
At the very end of this, Dr. Ruckman shows how he put his trust in God with his
mouth.
I'll play the following clip in it's full 10 minutes.
[23:30 - 33:36] Tape Recording: “Behold the Man” (August 27, 1978)
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
...don't make any difference, son. I don't care if you're 50, 60, or 70. If
you're so righteous you can't trust Jesus Christ, you're quite a fella. You know
that? If God Almighty can trust Him with His righteousness, you can trust Him!
Never could understand. I got saved when I was 27 years old. The first time I
ever heard the gospel, I trusted Christ. I was raised in the Episcopal Church.
Right before I got converted to Christ, I was taking convert courses with Jesuit
priest Loyola at St. Francis. And the first time I ever heard that Jesus Christ
died for me as a sinner, and He'd save me as a sinner, if I'd trust Him as a
sinner, I trusted Him. I quit trusting the wafer and the jug of liquor. I
started trusting Him.
(Clip cuts to 46:45 on tape)
Boy, it smelled like rancid petunias, couple of his teeth out. He came in there
and put a quarter up on that desk, that lady at the front of the Wanamaker's,
said, uh, “You got Jesus in here?”
And she said, “Well, we have a picture of Him in the back room if you'd like to
see it.”
He said, “Well, my mama was a Christian. She dead now, and she told me when I
was up here to see Jesus.”
And she said, “Well, all right.” Took the tickets, went back in the back room.
And that that young lady walked back behind that fella. She wanted to see what a
influence a piece of art like that would have, you know, on a fellow of that
obvious character. That old sea dog got back there, stood in front of that
picture for a while and looked at it, and he said, “Who's the gink in the white
dress?”
She said, “That's Jesus Christ.”
He said, “Who's the bird with the crew haircut?”
She said, “That's Pontius Pilate.”
He said, “What are they doing?” And she explained it to him. And she said
they're saying, “Crucify Him.” They want Him nailed to a cross and killed.
And the old sea dog said, “What for?”
And she said, uh, “For nothing.”
And the sea dog said, “Well, he must have been a bad man or they wouldn't be
trying to kill him.”
And she said, “Sir, they're not trying to kill him because he was a bad man.
They're trying to kill him because he was a good man.” And she left.
And about 5 minutes later, she heard a roar back there like a wounded bull
moose. And she came back in to see what was the matter. And that little boy down
on his face in front of that picture and holding onto a chair, crying and
bawling.
And she said, “What is it, sir? What is it?”
And he looked up and said, “Lady,” he said, “I don't know nothing about it.” But
he said, “I cussed Him and all my life, but my mom was a good woman, she's a
Christian, and I'm going to trust Him too.”
You know what happened to that fellow? Head-on collision. Once you meet Him, you
mark it down, you'll never be the same again. And you may sin, but you'll never
enjoy sin again. It'll get real complicated once you meet Him.
Let's bow our heads for prayer.
Father, bless the invitation this morning. I've just drawn a little picture
here, not much of a picture of that, kind of a little cartoon. I know our Savior
is the living God, and He rose from the dead, and He's here in the presence, in
person, Holy Spirit. I know He'll receive anybody who comes. If any man, any
woman, any child in this building gets up out of their seat and comes down this
aisle to trust Him as a Savior, I know He won't turn them down. You said in your
book, “Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”
Lord Jesus, you know I came to you many years ago the best way I knew how. And I
was just confused, some of these people, and just as misled, and just as full of
educational, rotten nonsense as some of them are. But I knew I was lost, and I
knew I needed a Savior, and You saved me. And I found Thee, and You found me.
And I'm glad. And I've never been sorry. And I'm not sorry right this minute.
And I pray this morning we stand and sing the invitation, there'll be men and
women, boys and girls, will take this opportunity to trust Your Son as their
Savior. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and trust His shed blood, and trust
His righteousness, the Friend of sinners. And I ask it in His matchless name.
Amen. Amen and amen.
Let's stand now. We're going to have our brother lead us in an invitation hymn
here this morning. What are we going to sing? [Response: “Just As I Am”] You all
know it by heart, “Just As I Am.” You know the song by heart. Let's sing it,
sing out. “Just As I Am” without one plea.
(Congregation begins singing: “Just as I am, without one plea, but that Thy
blood was shed for me...”)
[29:08 Text Card Overlay]
“But he just means talking to your neighbors about Jesus.”
What part does “give a sinner a clear-cut opportunity to confess Jesus Christ as
his own savior. Now, you have a chance this morning. God help you to take it.”
do you think means that?
He means two conditions. Belief and confession.
[29:13] Dr. Peter S. Ruckman (speaking over hymn):
Now, here's your chance here this morning. Some of you may have never been in a
church where you had a clear-cut invitation for a clear-cut decision to receive
Christ. You have a chance.
Some of you folks here this morning got saved sometime during the week, or last
month. You never confessed Christ publicly. You ought to come. Let people know
where you stand.
I was raised in a church where they had confirmation, christening, and
communion. Godfathers, godmothers, catechism, the whole thing. But not once did
a preacher ever stand here like I'm standing before you right now and give a
sinner a clear-cut opportunity to confess Jesus Christ as his own Savior. Now,
you have a chance this morning. God help you to take it.
I don't care if you're 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, don't make any difference.
That Bible said, “Whosoever will, let him come.”
Let's sing “Just As I Am” and waiting not.
(Singing continues: “Just as I am, and waiting not...”)
God help you here this morning. If you haven't received Christ, come and receive
Him. If you haven't confessed Him, come and confess Him. Do it now. Now. Now,
don't wait. Do it now.
(Singing continues: “...to rid my soul of one dark blot, to Thee whose blood can
cleanse each spot, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.”)
How many of you people here this morning before you were saved, you fooled
around with Buddhism? Let me see your hands. Zen Buddhism, meditation, anybody?
Samadhi? Nirvana? One, two, three, four, anybody else?
How many of you folks before you were saved, you fooled around with Satanism in
some form? Satanism. One, two, three, four.
How many before you got saved, you were fooling around in the Roman Catholic
Church? Let me see your hands. Can't count them! Can't count them! All over the
building.
Do you see what we're talking about? We're not talking about the change from one
religion to another or one belief to another. We're talking about a man finding
Jesus Christ as his own Savior. And when that happens, a lot of things begin to
clear up. Nobody's going I'm not going to stand here and waste 5 minutes of your
time arguing about who's right and who's wrong.
[31:27 Text Card Overlay]
Dr. Ruckman once again shows his conditions for salvation. TRUST/BELIEF in him
and VERBALLY confess him.
[31:29] Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
There's one thing that's right: you ought to know Jesus Christ, you ought to
trust Him, you ought to confess Him. Now, that's right. There can't be any doubt
about it. And when that's taken care of, a lot of the problems some of you folks
have are going to get ironed out.
[31:42 Text Overlay]
“Ironed out” He's talking about salvation.
[31:44] Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
And a lot of questions are going to get answered. If you don't believe me, ask
some of these other people. You got people here fooled with Buddhism before they
were saved, Satanism, seances, astrology, tea leaves, meditation, Maharaj Ji,
Hare Krishna, Meher Baba, guru, and all this stuff. And when they found Jesus
Christ, they found the answer.
Now, you can, too. Let's sing another stanza. Come while we sing. Step out. Come
the best way you know how. Come receiving, come believing. The Lord will take
you if you come. The Lord will take you if you come. Come ahead.
[32:21 Text Overlay]
They're having VERBAL SINNER'S PRAYERS AND DOCTOR PETER STURGES RUCKMAN
APPROVES.
[32:22] Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
Pastor's down here at the front to meet you. Have a word of prayer with you.
Come on while we sing.
(Singing continues: “O Lamb of God, I come, I come.”)
If I had If I had the opportunity you have this morning, I'd take it. When I got
saved, I heard the gospel for the first time, I was sitting down there in the
left-hand corner, about five rows up. Before they got to the second stanza, I
was out of that seat, down that aisle.
You know who came with me the night I got saved? A 12-year-old girl. You think
we didn't make a prayer up there? [laughs] I was down there, 27 years old,
mustache before Larry Hiscock ever had one, black shirt, yellow suit, white
necktie, and three cigars in each pocket. [laughter] Next to a 12-year-old girl.
I never have regretted that decision. I don't regret it now. If I were standing
where you're standing, this is the last stanza we're going to sing, I'm going to
turn the invitation over to your pastor now, last stanza we're going to sing, if
I were standing where you're standing, I'd get out of that seat. I'd come down
there and take that preacher's hand.
Preacher'd say, “What are you coming for?”
I'd say, “I'm coming to receive and confess Jesus Christ.”
[33:36 - 33:38] Text Card
[33:36]
Since the study "50B-I" was recorded in 1978, it logically follows that the
preceding study, "49b," must also be from 1978.
[33:38 - 34:38] Tape Recording: Study 49b “Virgin Birth” (1978)
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
You see, educated people uh as a class of people—I know there are exceptions,
and I'm not making a blanket condemnation—but educated people have a remarkable
display of hypocrisy when it comes to biblical facts.
The virgin birth is an unconditional truth. Romans 10:9 and 10 says you're to
confess Jesus Christ as Lord, and if He had a human father, He's not Lord. He's
not Savior.
(Clip cuts to 50:46 on tape)
And if you don't, get down on your knees and call upon the everlasting name of
the Lord God Almighty, the name that is above every name, the name under heaven
given among men whereby we must be saved. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save your
soul and wash you in the blood, and make you a new creature, and regenerate you
by His Holy Spirit. And then get up and see what happens.
After all, there's nothing like testing a hypothesis. Is there, Doctor?
May the Lord bless you and good day.

Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
...the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as
a bride adorned for her husband. Now it's over. Now bring in the astronauts. Now
populate outer space. If you want to do it, now's the time to do it.
Revelation 21:1 to 3, not 1980.
[35:02 Text Card]
"1980"
Right when Robert Ray Breaker II went to PBI.
Not to be confused with his son, the third.
[35:06 - 37:23] Vinyl Record: “Study in Revelation” (1980)
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
At 4:00. This 4:00, when three make supplication, the Lord will be the fourth on
that occasion.
At 5:00. Five is the clock. Five virgins were discarded, when five with wedding
garments were rewarded.
And at 6:00 a.m., the clock is six, I go off my station. Now, brethren, watch
yourselves for your salvation.
He's coming. He's coming. If you're not ready, will you get ready now?
You say, “Preacher, how do I do it?” Simple: bow your head there by the
phonograph, by the stereo, or the hi-fi, or whatever you got there. Bow your
head, close your eyes. Pray this prayer with me. Say, “Lord Jesus, I know I'm a
sinner.”
[35:53 Text Overlay]
"Wash me in the blood"
The BLOOD according to Dr. Ruckman is accessed through CONFESSION after
believing.
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman (continuing):
Can't you pray that? Aren't you an honest man or woman? Pray, “Lord Jesus, I
know I'm a sinner. I don't want to go to hell when I die.”
You see, if you believe His words, you take Him at His word to be serious.
Hell's not for heroes, hell's no joke. You don't want to go there.
“I don't want to go to hell when I die.”
Pray this: say, “Right now, Lord, the best way I know how, I'm coming to You,
and I'm trusting You as my Savior. Pray, Lord Jesus, save my soul and wash me in
the blood. Make me a new creature. Let me know I'm saved.”
[36:47 Text Overlay]
Or is that a bloodless gospel?
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman (continuing):
Then pray, “Thank You, Lord, for dying for me. Thank You for shedding Your blood
for me, a poor sinner. I accept You as my own Savior with all my heart and soul.
Amen.”
Try it. You've tried a lot of stuff. Try that, brother. Try that.
Father, bless this recording. May some soul right now pass from death to life by
hearing and believing Your word. In Jesus' name, Amen.
[37:23 - 37:29] Text Card
[37:23]
Well, friend.
You’ve just heard a bloodless gospel according to Robert Breaker. Allow me to
prove it in his words.
[37:29 - 38:04] Robert Breaker Clip
Robert Breaker:
I hear men preaching this, and they claim to be King James Bible believers, they
claim to be Independent Baptist, they claim to be from the school that I went to
or connected with the man [Subtitle: “[School is PBI and man is Ruckman]”], and
they say things like, “Just come to God the best way you know how, and He'll
accept you.”
No, that's a lie! You don't come to God the best way you know how, because the
way you know might not be the right way. You know, the Bible says there is a way
which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. You
don't come to God your way. You come to God His way, through the blood! Because
if you don't, you're not saved.
[38:04 - 39:01] Tape Recording: “Four Judgements” (August 2, 1984)
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
If you sin against somebody, go tell them about it. If you sin against the
church, you'll have to tell it to the church. But for sin where nobody knows
about it but you and the Lord, you confess that thing to God and get it fixed up
with God.
I don't know, a boy down in Panama City used to phone me up all the time. Well,
I say all the time, he'd phone me not all the time, but he phoned me up about
once every 3 months. Every time he phoned, be after 12:00, and he always sounded
like he was drunk when he'd phone up. Hoarse voice, rough voice. And the first
couple of times he talked, he just let me know he was unsaved and going to hell,
and hung up before I could do much with him in the plan of salvation.
And the third time, I kept him on the line for a while and got talking with him.
And I gave him the plan of salvation, tried to lead him to Christ over the
phone. And he said, “But preacher, but preacher,” he said, “but preacher, you
don't know what I've done.”
I said, “I don't care what you've done. The Bible says, ‘Come now, saith the
Lord, let us reason together. Though your sin be as scarlet, they shall be as
white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.’”
[39:01 - 39:06] Text Card
[39:01]
Now. How does the panama city caller access the blood of Jesus Christ?
Let’s ask Robert Breaker first!
[39:06 - 39:50] Robert Breaker Clip
Robert Breaker:
I call that the beggar's gospel. And you know what that is? Do you realize that
is what's called Universalist Unitarianism? See, back in the 1800s, there was
what's called the Universalist Unitarians, and they did not like the atoning
blood of Christ, and they were very vocal against blood atonement. And they say,
“We don't believe in blood atonement of Christ, someone else dying for you.
That's repugnant to us. We believe that if you want salvation, you just go to
God and ask Him to forgive you your sins.”
And that's where this teaching came from, and I I don't accept this teaching
because I see it as a cult teaching of people that denied the blood atonement of
Christ.
[39:51 - 40:00] Text Cards
[39:51]
Wow! Dr. Ruckman damned a soul to hell with a cult’s teaching? I’m glad we have
people like you to warn us against heretics like Dr. Ruckman, O’ Robert Breaker.
[39:54]
But wait! Let’s ask Dr. Ruckman now.
How did you do it, Dr. Ruckman?
[40:00 - 40:26] Tape Recording: “Four Judgements” (1984) Continued
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
He says, “Yeah, but I've killed a man.” I said, “Whether you kill a man or not,
the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanseth us from all sin.”
[40:06 Text Card]
But how do you access it, Dr. Ruckman?
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman (continuing):
He says, “Well, I'm uh I mean cold blood.”
I said, “I don't care if it's cold blood or not. Moses killed a man in cold
blood.” I said, “The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanseth from all sin.
Not just the ones you don't do.” [laughter]
[40:26 Text Card]
But how do you access it?
[40:27 - 40:54] Tape Recording: “Four Judgements” (1984) Continued
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
Yeah, hell! And and over the phone, he said, “Well, I'm uh I'm a hitman.” He
said, “I've killed a lot of people for money.”
I said, “Bud, either hang up or listen. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son,
cleanseth us from A-double-L, all sin. That's it. You want it, don't you?”
[40:54 Text Card]
Does Dr. Ruckman agree with Breaker? No, keep listening.
[40:57 - 41:15] Tape Recording: “Four Judgements” (1984) Continued
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
He said, “Okay, Father.” [laughter]
Guess what religion he was! [laughter]
But I don't mind. I'm a father, I got seven kids. [laughter]
And so I bowed my head over the telephone, closed my eyes, and prayed with him.
And he prayed, and he got saved, and received the Lord.
[41:15 - 41:18] Text Card
[41:15]
Wait! Prayer? That’s a work if Robert Breaker is to believed.
You’ve damned that soul to hell!
You ought to be ashamed of yourself Dr. Ruckman that Robert Ray III Breaker’s
father personally saw and witnessed.
And witnessed enough for his son to have his experiences as a personal authority
to say young and old Ruckman had doctrinal differences regarding sinner’s
prayers.
Wait, a second I’m starting to think young and Old Ruckman is fake. But Breaker
wouldn’t lie to us, right? (Yes, he would. Skip to [0000])
[41:18 - 41:53] Tape Recording: “Four Judgements” (1984) Continued
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
And, you know, something about 2 months later, that guy phoned me up doubting
his salvation. And about 2 months later, he phoned me up doubting his salvation.
He never did get on top.
And the last time I talked to that poor critter, I said, “Listen, bud,” I said,
“I can't take any more of my time, your time with this stuff. Maybe you'll see
those face, those dying men, the day you die, and maybe in your dreams at night
you'll wake up screaming with the face of those dead men and women in front of
you. Maybe you'll have to live without the rest of your life. You reap what you
sow, but God's not lying when He told you what He told you. And if you trusted
His Son, your sins are under the blood.”
[41:53 - 42:54] Text Cards
[41:53]
The core of the confusion is this: Robert Breaker teaches that praying to access
the blood of Christ is a "work."
However, outside of Breaker's own selectively edited clips, there is no evidence
that Dr. Ruckman ever held this view. In fact, there are mountains of evidence
showing that from his earliest recordings in the 1950s until his death, Dr.
Ruckman consistently taught and practiced the Sinner's Prayer.
[42:11]
FYI: These are from my compilations.
This was made in November, I did not use mountains of evidence because of
Breaker.
As far as I know, I used it first.
Maybe, it’s a coinky dink
Do with that as you will.
[42:29]
The next 1980s sermon is about Alton.
Don’t know what that is?
Please watch my video.
“How Robert Breaker deliberately cherry picked Dr. Ruckman: The Alton Story”
[42:42]
I include every Alton sermon in that video, so just go and watch that.
If you wanted to watch the Alton Sermon.
[42:54]
1997 was one year before Breaker graduated. If there was such a thing as a young
and old Ruckman, then the difference would be apparent now.
[43:14 - 50:11] Tape Recording (July 26, 1997)
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
...women's prison, preaching there, and I say, they all think they're going to
lose it, you know, all worried about losing their salvation. Charismatics got
them all tore up there, just like they get them tore up out here. Dumb, stupid
nuts.
And and those prisoners worried about that, said a colored woman, I said,
“Sister,” I said, “stand up and read us uh Romans 10:13.”
Big old skinny black woman gets up there, and she says, “For whosoever shall
call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
I said, “Would you read that again?”
“Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
God said that if you call upon Him, He'll save you. Now if you call upon Him,
either you're lying, or He's lying. Because He said He'd save you, and if He
said He'd save you and you call upon Him, He did, unless He's lying.
And that woman read that scripture and said, “The Lord ain't no liar!”
[laughter]
That was the best thing I've ever heard in a service: “The Lord ain't no liar!”
[laughter]
(Clip cuts to 1:14:04 on tape)
And I'll tell you, before I was saved, I was a pretty stupid fella. I was a real
fool, you know. God takes care of fools and drunkards, and I had double
protection. And I used to do a lot of wild things before I was saved, but I
wouldn't do anything that wild. I wouldn't take a chance like that.
Now, you want to know what it's going to be like? I'll tell you what it's going
to be like. You're going to find yourself someday standing like this, and the
trouble standing like this is you ain't standing on nothing. There's no earth
there! The passage, heaven that heaven and earth are gone. You're in outer
space. And you're facing a light you can't look at, and you duck your head like
this, and that voice comes like the sound of many waters. Did you ever hear
Niagara Falls? It's like that.
And you're standing there, and you look down like this, you say, “My God, what's
holding me up?” And then it'll get you. You'll get the message then: the only
thing that's holding me up is God.
Now, me? I don't have to learn that. I got that one down. So I'm standing here,
I'm not dumb enough to think my legs are holding me up. And I'm not dumb enough
to think that floor is holding me up. I'm just not that stupid. I learned how to
read when I was about seven. You know who's holding me up? God's holding me up!
And God's held me up for 75 years, and when He says drop, over we go. And my
legs are no good and that floor's Don't kid me. Don't kid me. I know who's
holding me up. God's holding me up. Touch my lung one time, touch my heart one
time, buddy, I'm gone.
But you'll stand up there and say, “Only God's holding me up.” It's okay, grind
them, roll them. And that Bible out there on that screen, I mean, full
CinemaScope, high tweeter woofer stereo, full color sound, will come everything
you've done and said and thought since you were born. “Thus saith the Lord, I
know the thoughts that come into your mind, every one of them.” The Lord
searches all the hearts and the imaginations of the thoughts. There's not a word
in my tongue, O Lord, but Thou knowest not altogether. Nothing hid that shall
not be uncovered, the day that God shall judge the secrets of men. You're going
to face that.
Not me, brother! I'm going to put it right there! Jesus paid it all, all to Him
I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed me white as snow. But you get out
like this and see that thing right there, and you'll you'll make them stop that
thing before it's halfway through. I mean, you can't face the record!
You you good folks here tonight, come on now. Come on, let's just be reasonable,
okay? If I had to If I had to give If I had to show you on the screen right now
everything I've thought in the last 24 hours, some of you'd be puking, and I'd
go to hell like a bullet. But I've been saved 48 years. But surely a holy
character, aren't you? Huh?
You call, “Stop that thing!” That's right. He'll stop and He'll say, “Okay,
depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his
angels. Pitch him out!”
And about the time they This is Christ: “Bind him hand and foot and cast him—”
“Aren't you gonna talk with me?”
“Bind him hand and foot, cast him into outer darkness. Go get him!”
The angels step in to grab you, and about that time, the Lord says, “One more
thing before you go.”
Say, “What's that?”
“Down you go, boy.” “Down you go.”
The Bible says, “Every knee down, every head bow, shall confess that Jesus is
Lord.” That isn't the Christian confession. That's confession of things under
the earth, as well as the Christian. That's what the That's what the devil's
going to have to confess: “Jesus is Lord. Down you go.”
He'll call them in. You know, Madonna: down on your knees. Michael Jackson: down
you go, buddy. Muhammad: front and center. Buddha: down, baby. Lie down, roll
over, speak. [laughter]
And then he get down that thing, you know, He'll call in the devil and say,
“Lucifer, front and center.” You step there and the Lord say, “Hey, you remember
that deal you gave me in Luke chapter 4? You remember when you said if I'd you
I'd bow down and worship you, you'd give me all these kingdoms? Remember that
deal? Yeah, okay. Down, boy.” And you'll see the devil go down like that and
confess that Jesus is Lord.
Now, you know something? Us preachers may look like a bunch of fools, but we're
on the winning side. These Bible-believing preachers you got in here, you know
what they're going to live to see? They're going to live to see the day that
everybody they preach to gets converted. You know what my batting average
is? 1,000. The trouble is, you're going to get converted at the wrong time.
I'm going to I'm going to see you accept Christ. I'm going to see you do it. But
it'll be too late.
Why don't you do it now? Why don't we sing “Just As I Am” without one plea, but
that Thy blood was shed for me, and while you got some ground under your feet
and can still walk around—
[49:03 - 49:30] Text Card
[49:03]
But wait! How do you access the blood shed for you? Breaker, as stated, believes
that it is head belief alone "trusting" in the blood that saves you and that
confession to be saved is a work.
What does Ruckman then believe? If Breaker is right and young Ruckman believed
in head belief, we should not at any point hear him teaching sinner's prayers!
As Breaker believes sinner's prayers alongside belief to be saved is a work! And
Breaker says the Ruckman he knew taught that this was a work too!
[49:30 - 50:11] Tape Recording (July 26, 1997) Continued
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman:
Down, boy. And say, not just “Jesus is Lord,” “Lord Jesus, I accept You as my
Lord.”
Let's stand for prayer.
Father, bless the invitation. Speak to hearts of men, women, boys, and girls.
May no man or woman or child leave this place unsaved tonight and face the
record. Lord, may nobody here test me out to see if I'm telling the truth. May
nobody here test me out and stand up there to see if I told them the truth about
hell, about the White Throne Judgment. May they accept it by faith that this is
the Word of God, and this is what You have in store for them. And may they take
their chance at Calvary instead of out there in eternity at that Last Judgment.
And I pray it in Christ's name. Amen.
