Favorite Pins Friday

Blogging

I have a confession to make.  Scripture is my greatest inspiration, but when it comes to Do-it-yourself (DIY) ideas, I pretty much steal them all from Pinterest.  (You can find all of my info on About.me HERE.)

I’ve seen several FAVORITE PINS posts, so I thought it would be fun to share some of my recent favorites with my readers.

I know some of you don’t know what Pinterest or PINS are, so think of Pinterest as an online cork board that lets you pin everything from recipes to remodeling ideas.  I love that you can even search a category, like fireplace mantels, and see all kinds of ideas for creating the perfect mantel.

Fall is coming, and I like to plan ahead, so here are a few of my favorite finds:

FALL COLORS… LOVE to mix and match!

My newest PIN on my “Yumm!” Board… I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s sure to be tasty!

Tuscan Pasta With Tomato-Basil Cream Recipe from ZipList

AND… What would fall be without pumpkins?  And I just happen to have a ton of these!

Mason jar lid PUMPKINS!

I LOVE updating my pillows, and this is a simple way to save $$ (No instructions on this one,  just the idea.)  Should be an easy update with a simple fabric (this is burlap) and ribbon.

And because I already have the window (you can see it here):

Hope you enjoy looking around!  If you’re on Pinterest, what’s your newest favorite?

What does it mean to have childlike faith?

What do you think of when you hear the word “childlike?”For many of us, “childlike” might bring to mind something immature, foolish, or naive. Yet when Jesus talked about childlike faith, he wasn’t asking us to be any of these things. He was inviting us into something pure, trusting, and real. This week, I got to help lead worship at a kids' camp. Watching the kids worship was such a beautiful reminder of what childlike faith truly looks like. These kids worshiped, prayed, and talked about God.
