Finding Purpose - A Nighttime Prayer

Then Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to Your word." (Luke 1:38, NKJV).

Dear Heavenly Father,

Let us draw near to You, like Mary, in obedience, humility and faith. Our purpose on this earth is to be so closely aligned with You that others see Jesus through our lives. Help us to maintain integrity in our personal lives, love in our relationships with others, righteousness in the natural culture where we live, and obedience, humility and steadfastness in our relationship with You through our Comforter, precious Holy Spirit. Guide each step of our lives that we may be a foundation for the generations to come, and that they may know You, love You, and receive eternal life. We pray these things in the name of Jesus.

Amen.
