Generational Gaps - A Nighttime Prayer

“Likewise, you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”” -- 1 Peter 5:5-6

Please Pray:

Heavenly Father, I am so thankful that we live in a world where one generation can learn things of great importance from another generation. I ask that you give each of us a humble heart filled with your grace as we adapt to new ways of seeing the world. I pray that you will instill a humble heart in each one of us and not let our pride get in the way of loving others. My sole desire is to love you with my entire being and love others with a heart of compassion, understanding, and truth. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
