Matthew 21 vs 5
Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
- The story of the ass and the colt in verse 2 is symbolic of the prophetic picture of most people.
- Some dark powers tied the ass and the colt in the village, and it seems to them that no help will come.
- They could have written off their life. They must have thought they would be tied and chained for the rest of their lives.
- We saw that the ass and the colt were eventually released, and Jesus rode on them into Jerusalem.
- If you study the Bible carefully, you will discover that in vs 5, the Prophet Isaiah prophesied that Jesus Christ would ride into Jerusalem on an ass and a colt.
- The deliverance of the ass and the colt was earlier prophesied.
- Their prophetic destiny reveals that, at a point, they were going to serve the purpose of God.
- If the ass and the colt could read the book of the Prophet, all they would have done is believe the word of God and confess their deliverance.
- A prophecy earlier came that a colt and an ass would enter Jerusalem in glory, which eventually came to pass.
- No matter what you are going through now, do not look at your situation but at what the word of God says about your situation.

- I prophesy that every prophecy concerning you shall pass in Jesus’ name.
