Genesis 40 vs 23

Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.

  1. The chief butler, who benefited from the help of Joseph, forgot him when he got to the palace.
  2. Men may have forgotten you, but God has not forgotten you.
  3. Joseph thought the chief butler would speak on his behalf to the king because he interpreted his dreams, and they came to pass.
  4. Joseph relied on a man for restoration.
  5. The chief butler forgot that Joseph was in prison, but God did not.
  6. God has not forgotten you. He knows all that you are going through.
  7. God remembers His promises to you.
  8. He has not forgotten that you are not yet married.
  9. He has not forgotten that you have not given birth.
  10. He has not forgotten that you are out of Job.
  11. Men may forget their promises to you, but God will never forget you.
  12. People you thought could help you might have disappointed you. Help comes from God.
  13. The book of remembrance is open unto you in Jesus’ name. Amen
