Holding Onto the Truth When We Can't See Tomorrow - A Nighttime Prayer

1x
This I recall to my mind and therefore I have hope. -- Lamentations 3:21

Please Pray:

Lord, my feelings rise up to drown me in the darkness, but I know that they are just feelings. They are not the truth. You alone are Truth. Help me call to mind Your promises to me. Help me remember that Your love is steadfast and You alone are faithful. Quicken my thoughts to recall Your goodness and mercies to me and the blessed hope that is mine. And then Lord, strengthen me to hold fast to You through the darkest nights and the deepest valleys until You bring me safely through to the other side of my despair. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I ask this, Amen.
