How To Be A Faithful Witness For God? - Raising Zion
“A faithful witness will not lie: But a false witness will utter lies.”
Every believer is called to be a witness for Jesus across Jerusalem (Church), Judea (Home), Samaria (workplace) and the uttermost (wherever we go) parts of the earth. This witnessing is accompanied by the power of the Holy Spirit.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:8
Many today want to preach, and minister without understanding Jesus, and without the power of God. That is like standing close to a lion (inside a cage), getting mauled and complaining to God why did the lion maul me. Eventually such believers, because of their hypocritical lifestyle, end up searing their conscience. (1 Timothy 4:1)
Who is a faithful witness?
A faithful witness loves the truth and follows it. They do not lie. Such a kind delivers souls from death. No cares on this earth apart from God, and those who are living like faithful witnesses, doing the will of God.
A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.
Proverbs 14:25
All liars will be punished (Proverbs 19:5,9) and put out of God’s presence (Psalms 101:7). Another reason why some have suicidal tendencies. Their actions do not match their words. The devil finds access, as the father of lies, and drives the person towards death.
You want to be happy and joyful in life? Stop honouring the proud and avoid liars (Psalms 40:4). A liar is an idol worshipper. God hates such attitude.
Repent. God will send His joy and hope.
Jesus is the only truth, and He paid the perfect price for our salvation. Prepare yourself to meet God.
