Who are the children of God? How do we identify a child of God?
All who have accepted, repented, and confessed Jesus as God are children. Believers who walk daily by faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:26).
An obedient walk with God reveals the true nature of a child of God. The Heavenly Father is the only perfect parent for children of God (1 Peter 1:14) (Ephesians 6:1) (Colossians 3:20).
They fulfil all righteousness (1 John 3:7,10).
Spirit baptised children hear the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit who leads them in their daily walk (Romans 8:15, 16).
Being truthful and honest in every way is a natural for Heaven’s child (3 John 1:4).
Not only are children full of peace, they are peacemakers too (Matthew 5:9).
Believers are shining stars because they are in the light, and of the light (Ephesians 5:8) (John 12:36)
The presence of God diffuses every negative feelings quickly and makes believers children in malice; yet men of understanding (1 Corinthians 14:20)
A believer is willing to suffer for God (Romans 8:17)
Do not consider themselves as victims or survivors but as true overcomers (1 John 4:4) (Revelation 3:21)
True christians have given up their self and are not idol worshippers (1 John 5:21)
We have one life to live, nothing better than living for the One who gave His life for us and rescued us from a terrible darkness and strongholds of sin. Soon we will meet Him in the air.
