Truth is often a casualty of this doomed quest. Sure, they might use something that is partially true to attack you. However, a partial truth is still fully a lie.

The sad thing about this scenario is how blind Cheaters are to what they are saying. They are speaking forth contradictions yet seem incapable of recognizing the conflict. If they did, they would be able to see the truth and might be able to repent.

Sadly, the ability to discern truth goes away when one is committed to lies as Cheaters are.

It is funny how Cheaters can behave so excited to get rid of you–the so-called source of their misery–only to discover they miss things about you like your cooking. Again, sadly, this usually does not give them pause enough to reconsider the false beliefs they are holding about you and their dastardly behavior.
