Keep Your Heart From Getting Carried Away - Raising Zion
How are you feeling today?
What’s the cry of your heart?
What is God speaking to you dear brother, dear sister?
Are you hearing God’s voice (understanding His word)?
Can you hear His whispers in your heart (leading of the Holy Spirit)?
We are greatly challenged today spiritually with all the chaos around us. There is enough trouble every day to stir us the wrong way. To provoke us, to make us angry or bitter or feel disgusted or fearful.
God weighs our spirits. We need to learn to control our reactions through the power of the Holy Spirit. We need to come under the leading of the Holy Spirit to be able to stay in control. The anointing keeps us grounded when we invite the Holy Spirit to take control.
Keep Your Heart Grounded
When the world around us more crazy, we need to be careful that we don’t get comfortable thinking we are something. It is God who is preserving us. Not our own smartness or wisdom.
Paul reminds us how believers, during the journey of the Israelites, lost their way. They all ate from the same spiritual meat and drank from the same rock, yet fell away. Drawn to various lusts, they murmured against the leaders. 23000 believers were destroyed at one go.
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
Are you investing your freedom in Christ in godliness? We cannot continue in worldliness. To receive direction for godliness, we need to spend quality time with scripture and in personal prayer (+fellowship). Christ gave us a burden to carry, now is the time to strive for the glory of God.
When we stay poor in spirit, God will power us in Him to stay faithful till the end. Maranatha, Praise God and Amen.
