Notes – Psalms 16 (part 2)

Holy People

By Tanja

Who do you choose to spend your time with, and what people have impacted your life? We need to be connected with other believers. We need encouragement and the testimony of our fellow believer.

The Psalmists in Psalms 16 is recommending for the believer in spending time with other believers. The ‘kedoshim’ are the saints of God.[1]  This Psalm tells us about the benefits of choosing to spend time with those who follow the Lord. Alden says, the Psalmist is saying he delights in both God’s people and God.[2] We need to be in the presence of God; we need to pray and to seek God. We also need to be connected with Christians. In the New Testament, it says to edify each other and build one another up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11; 1 Corinthians 14:26
