Mark 8 vs 31

And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Mark 8:31 | KCIS 630

  1. A few weeks ago, I was awarded a Doctorate after finishing a course at the University of BATH, UK.
  2. I have been overwhelmed by the congratulations and amazed by the glory the Doctorate has attracted to my personality.
  3. It also occurred to me that nobody would have congratulated me if I failed to pass the course.
  4. I also reminded myself that I did the course for about eight years, I was on my own, and the people congratulating me now did not know what I went through.
  5. In this verse, Jesus Christ says, “The son of man must suffer many things, after which he rises again”.
  6. Jesus, our Lord, suffered. You must suffer many things if you want to rise.
  7. If Jesus Christ had refused to sacrifice his life, the Father would not have glorified His name.
