Persevering in Ministry - A Nighttime Prayer

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our bodies. -- 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 (ESV)

Please Pray:

Lord, what a privilege to serve You, our awesome and faithful God. There is indeed no one like You. Please, help me to trust You as I walk through trials in ministry that Satan wants to use to crush me. Hold onto me tightly and work through me regardless of what comes. In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
