Praying Scripture— Loneliness

Scripture

“Turn to me and have mercy, for I am alone and in deep distress.”

Psalms 25:16— NLT

And

“A father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows, Is God in His holy habitation. God makes a home for the lonely;”

Psalms 68:5-6— AMP

And

“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”

John 15:15— NIV

Pray

Dear Father, when I feel lonely, help me to fix my eyes on you. You are omnipresent, and I know that you are always with me. I am not alone, even when I am alone. I praise you because you walk with me through the wilderness of life. I seek strength in you. And I am comforted and celebrate that you, the creator of all things, calls me— Friend.

In Jesus’ Name

Amen

Does God Tire Of Our Constant Repenting? - Today Can Be Different

God commands us to be holy, but He doesn’t leave us to figure it out alone or shout down at us in frustration, “Stop sinning! Be holy!” Instead, He lovingly invites us to come to Him with our struggles.
