Preparing Our Hearts Before We Prepare Our Holidays - A Nighttime Prayer

But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. -- Luke 10:42 (NKJV)

Please Pray:

Father, help to prepare my heart for Christmas by using the coming days to draw nearer to You in holy awe. Keep the distractions of the holidays from causing me to forget the reason why we celebrate. May the glorious wonder of Your Incarnation never be dimmed by earthly things. To You be the power and glory forever. Amen
