Ephesians 6 vs 11

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 6:10-19 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all

  1. The wiles of the enemies are the evils of the enemies.
  2. The wiles of the enemies are the wickedness of the enemies.
  3. The wiles of the enemies are the manipulations of the enemies.
  4. You need to be empowered spiritually.
  5. It is not enough for you to be born again or a churchgoer.
  6. Unless you put on the armour of God, you cannot stand against the wiles of the enemies.
  7. Unfortunately, many Christians face afflictions because they refuse to put on the armour of God.
  8. Psalm 91 makes us realise that four evils happen daily. The terror by night, the arrow that flieth by day, the pestilence that walks in the darkness, and destruction that waste at noonday.
  9. To overcome these four evils, you must put on God’s armour.
  10. The armour of God is:
  • The word of God
  • The anointing
  • Praying in spirit and understanding
  • Walking in holiness and righteousness
  • Praying at midnight
  • Singing hymns and praises to God
  1. As you put on the whole armour of God, It serves as a spiritual immunity to the wiles of God.
  2. Be filled with the armour of God in Jesus. Amen

    The Mall or the Manger?

Much has changed since the God of the universe decorated the night sky with the star of Bethlehem and directed the choir of angels in a chorus announcing the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. But the commercialism doesn’t have to rule in our hearts and homes. This year let’s focus on the Christ Child and remember the true meaning of the holiday season. As we turn our eyes to the Babe in the manger, we will not view Christmas as a dreaded obligation or a major retail event. It will be a time of joyous celebration, honoring the One Who came to give us eternal life and worshipping our Heavenly Father.
