Rabbit or Rabbi on Resurrection Day? -  A Nighttime Prayer

But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you." -- Matthew 28: 5-7 (NKJV)

Please Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we approach Resurrection Day this year, help us to keep our eyes on You, the Author and Finisher of our faith. We praise and honor and glorify Your Holy Name. There is No One above You - and yet, You loved us so much that You gave Your Only Begotten Son that we might have life and life abundantly. And, You showed us through the Resurrection of Your Son, Jesus, that we now have a way to a blessed and everlasting life with You. We were as filthy rags before You, yet You loved us. We thank You and praise You for Your perfect plan of salvation and eternal life. We thank You and praise You for sending Holy Spirit to guide us in our mortal bodies that we may point others to Christ Jesus. Help us walk out our faith journey in ways that are pleasing to You, Heavenly Father. Help us to recognize when You put people in our path that need to hear Your Holy Word and help us guide them to receive and believe in Your Name to be saved. Continue to show us Your heavenly light in this dark world. In Jesus' mighty Name, we pray, Amen.
