Two things I heard in a sermon once that was engraved on my heart for life.
The importance of teaching little ones about God and feeding them His Word at their level. Jochebed realized the importance of this. Moses was the future leader of the Israelites-the next generation. Jochebed did her part to prepare him and trusted God to do His part.
What "lambs" has God placed in your life? What are you doing to make a difference for the next generation?
Much has changed since the God of the universe decorated the night sky with the star of Bethlehem and directed the choir of angels in a chorus announcing the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. But the commercialism doesn’t have to rule in our hearts and homes. This year let’s focus on the Christ Child and remember the true meaning of the holiday season. As we turn our eyes to the Babe in the manger, we will not view Christmas as a dreaded obligation or a major retail event. It will be a time of joyous celebration, honoring the One Who came to give us eternal life and worshipping our Heavenly Father.
Revive Our Hearts
As you adorn your home with lights and string them around your Christmas tree, may they serve as a reminder that Christ, the Light of the World, has come.
