Matthew 26 vs 49
And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
- A kiss is normally a show of affection.
- A kiss is an expression of love.
- A kiss is another form of handshake.
- A kiss seals the bonds of friendship.
- A kiss triggers emotional feelings that can lead to other things.
- Normally, when someone kisses you, you should be at ease and believe the person is your friend.
- There is a kiss of the enemy.
- The kiss of the enemy is a kiss of a betrayer.
- The kiss of the enemy is deceitful.
- The kiss of the enemy is poisonous.
- When Judas kissed Jesus, he handed him over for crucifixion.
- You must ensure that you do not allow the enemy to kiss you.
- If you open yourself to evil and sin, you open your mouth for the enemy’s kiss.
- As your friends and lovers will like to kiss you to show their affection for you, the enemy also wants to kiss you.
- When Judas kissed Jesus Christ, Jesus was temporarily captured by the enemy.
- Another thing you must realise is that when the enemies come, they pretend to be your friend.
- Judas pretended to be Jesus’ friend.
- So, do not open your hand to everybody wanting to befriend you.
- Avoid the kiss of the enemy, and the enemy shall not kiss you in Jesus’ name.
