The Privileged Life: Birds!

“He sends the springs into the valleys;
They flow among the hills….
By them the birds of the heavens have their home;
They sing among the branches.” Psalm 104:10,12

Thinking today about how grateful I am for the FREE gift of birds! They’re so exquisitely beautiful and graceful, with the blessing of flight. We are blessed to have cardinals, cedar waxwings, finches, woodpeckers, wrens, chickadees, bluebirds, and more in our backyard. I especially love mockingbirds…and if you live in the South, you know what remarkable songs they sing. Such amazing creatures to enjoy!

Thanks, God, for these beautiful reminders of the infinite wonders in Your creation. Thank You for making these extraordinary creatures to give us Your gift of song every day! Amen.
