Matthew 26 vs 56

 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

  1. Bible says that everything that happens to Jesus is the fulfilment of the Scripture.
  2. This means all that happened to him was to realise what had been written concerning him. Jesus’ birth, lineage, place of birth, how he was born, escape from death, baptism, miracles, wonders, arrest, cruxification and resurrection.   3. The life of Jesus Christ was written centuries before he was born in the Old Testament, Genesis to Malachi.
  4. Just as the prophecy concerning Jesus is in the Bible, the prophecy concerning your life also is in the Bible.
  5. If Jesus Christ fulfils Scripture, if you hold on to the word of God, you will also fulfil Scripture.
