The Street, the River, and the Tree are Together

Repeating Revelation 22:1-2a, “A river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb in the middle of its street. And on this side and on that side of the river was the tree of life, producing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit each month.”
When we take the divine way, the street of God’s divine nature, we have the life flowing in us, and we also have the life supply nourishing us. Day by day, as we are living such a life and walking according to God’s divine nature, we enjoy the water of life and the tree of life as our supply. We all need a day-by-day experience of the divine street of gold with the river of water of life and the tree of life in its middle, signifying that the life water and the life supply flow in the divine way.*
The river of life is in the middle of the New Jerusalem’s street and the tree of life spreads on both sides of the river. Thus, we experience all three together. When we have one, we have all three; when we are away from one, we are away from all three.
A key to having this rich experience is in John 6:57— “he who eats Me, he also shall live because of Me.” In this chapter Jesus is the bread of life, our nourishment for us to live Him, and this bread is presented to us in the words He speaks, which become spirit and life to us (v. 63). This is a foretaste of New Jerusalem. Let us take in the living word every day!
